THEN, upon plugging my monitor back in, playback continues to be good. But, while the computer is on, if I unplug the monitor, playback becomes excellent. if I boot up my computer with my monitor plugged into my HDMI in/out port, it somehow causes havoc with my external sound card. I've had an extensive conversation with FL Studio support via their forums, you can see it here: And I'm having this really weird problem with a Dell HD PC monitor (S2340L). I'm using a PreSonus AudioBox iTwo as an external sound card.
